Philip Raby Specialist Cars offers Porsche sales and servicing for West Sussex, Hampshire and beyond.

Challenge

Phil, owner of Philip Raby Specialist Cars contacted Jackie, MD of Key Principles via a mutual group, the IMDA (The Independent Motor Dealers Association) in January 2021.

Phil had a very specific challenge. Phil said, “I want more servicing enquiries and business as the priority. I’ve set up a Smart campaign, but I’m getting nowhere fast, and one of my competitors is always at the top.”

So, our objective was clear – ensure Phil was at the top of Google for the right searches and to generate servicing and repair enquiries at a cost per enquiry that would ensure a return for Phil and his team.

Solution

The team at Key Principles knew what needed to be implemented and got to work.

Firstly, a landing page was developed specifically for the Google Ads campaign. Secondly, tracking was implemented on the website using Google Tag Manager with Google Analytics. This tracking also enabled us to implement dynamic headlines to further improve the conversion rates.

A Google Ads campaign was then built with relevant keywords, a range of adverts including Expanded Text Ads and Responsive Text Ads, as well as all the extensions you would expect.

Results

Results are based on data from 1 February 2021 to 31 August 2021, we have achieved the following results.

Conclusion

Without tracking before Key Principles started working with Philip Raby Specialist Cars, it is impossible to provide a real comparison with the period before we started working with Phil.
